形態特徵

• Plants 5-15 cm tall. Tuberoids nearly erect, ovoid or ellipsoid, 8-20 mm long, pilose. Stem straight, simple, fleshy, terete, purplish, remotely 2-leaved, sheathed at base.
• Leaves erect-patent, pale green, upper surface with large green patches, lower surface purplish, more or less fleshy, orbicular-ovate or cordate, 8-15 mm long, 5-13 mm wide, apex acute, base clasping, embracing stem, glabrous, with distinct veins.
• Peduncle 5-15 mm long, raceme 2 or 3-flowered; bracts leafy, ovate, ca. 10 mm long, 5 mm wide, upper ones smaller; pedicel and ovary straight, ca. 8-10 mm long, glabrous, slightly angled. Flowers pink or nearly white but tinged with purple; dorsal sepal lanceolate, 5-7 mm long, 1 mm wide, apex acute, 1-nerved; lateral sepals pendulous, connate near base, oblique, falcate-ovate, 6-8 mm long, 3.5 mm wide, with conic sac at center; petals forming hood with dorsal sepal, semiorbicular-falcate, 6 mm long, 2mm wide, acute, often undulate along outer margins; lip nearly white, cross shaped when expanded, ca. 5 mm long and wide, base erect, cuneiform, confluent and parallel to column, folded downward from lateral lobes, terminal lobe confluent with lip base, ending in papillose appendage, lateral lobes horizontally spreading, yellow-papillose on upper surface; column with an erect broad rostellum at apex; anther nearly horizontal at base of column, locules distinct, slightly divergent basally; pollinia with caudicle and viscidia ca. 1.5 mm long; viscidia triangular; rostellum spathe-like, produced on both sides into long coiled arms.
